I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY> JUST THAT I CANT STAND BEING AT HOME 24/7 AND I HATE THE HOLIDAYS> TEACHERS WHO THINK WE ONLY LEARN ONE SUBJECT SHOULD THINK AGAIN! AND PARENTS SHOUlL UNDERSTAND MORE. yeah yeah. i know. students? should just accept their fate. i dont know lah. i cant stand it anymore. maybe this is just the way it is and there's no way to change it. yeah. how to change. somethings were born with. and furthermore, maybe if you'll open your eyes wider you'll know that maybe what you get isnt always what you wished for. so face it man. you got me and you cant change that.
Short story
staring at the sky overhead, i wondered why i never noticed the beauty of the birds, the sky. the pretty puffy clouds floating in the sea of brilliant blue. were there really angles in heaven? as my thoughts ran wild and i finally started to relax where i was, the sun began to set, which symbolised going home. and doom. do not mistake me, no. it is not that i dislike my home. i love my home and the people in it. but its just how different we are, how differently we think that makes me feel out of place. most of the time, it is not because of what i did wrong, but what i didn't do, that got me into hot soup. sighing, i got to my feet and started my slow stroll home.
along the way, i hear an array of sounds. the cars zooming, the bicycles ringing, birds chirping, children laughing... i stop momentarily and gaze over at the children at the playground. so peaceful, carefree and happy they seemed. so worry free. their life was a mystery ahead of them, that they did not yet care to solve. i think about my own childhood. sure, i had my share of fun times, and they seem to have disappeared as quickly as it came. nostalgia ovewhelmed me and my eyes filled with tears. where did the happy times go? turning my gaze, i see a family of 4 sitting at the bench next to the playground, talking, telling jokes and laughing like nothing else in the world mattered. my family was once like that.... 'RING!!! RING!!!!' my hand phone rang at that moment, pulling me out of my revere. 'hello?' "WHERE ARE YOU. JUST WHERE ARE YOU. COME HOME NOW!' 'i'm on my ...' click. beep---- the line went dead.
i picked up my walking speed. walking quicker and quicker with each step. afraid that i would not get home soon enough, yet afraid of what was awaiting me in the house. when i finally got into the 4 roomed appartment that we were reciding, four blank walls of white stared at me, 'impending doom, run, hide. NOW!' it seemed to be screaming at me. but i knew that running didnt help... it never did. so i took one step at a time. step by step, until i reached the dining room where they were all sitting.....
-- haha. my thoughts went wild. if you read it, hope you enjoyed (: haiya! i love writing short stories like that. maybe if i think of an ending for this story i'll continue! someother day then. bye
'It's like we're going on a train that's going 200 miles an hour. It'd be so nice to get off. To stand on the platform for just a minute.'
